Hey long time no post. Been busy working on this comic Dinopopolous, 24 pages, B&W, published by BLANK SLATE I AM STOKED. Hopefully going to have a dustjacket type thing like the fantagraphics ignatz series (if you haven't seen any of those what are you doing go buy any of the Ganges books by Kevin Huizenga or Babel by David B, there are other awesome ignatz books that i can't recall right now) so i can put in some colour strips hidden away. Can't wait.

Now for those of you that like big posts, enjoy! And those of you that hate them, i'm sorry
KABOOF BANG

Here is a page I scanned unfinished (without borders on those top and bottom panels) Using a swanky new nib, a Hunt 107 I think.

This stuff is all for an experimental project for uni. I took a shine to acrylic, so I did a bit of that. Painting random shapes onto cardboard and then drawing into them.

^^^ Comic of my cat Ozzy for my Dad's birthday.

^^ First ever pixelart. I like the title Space Dingus, going to use that as a comic title at some point.

^^^ Big piece for "Numbers" another uni project.

^ same project as pic above

Obviously this is copyright The Hergé estate, but i just scanned a bunch of slapstick panels and put them together for my archives. Really pleasing to read.

NOW HERE ARE LOTS OF SKETCHBOOK PAGES

Jesus fucking christ, dude ! I just can't stop looking at those sketchbook pages !

And those "Numbers" pieces ? Totally amazing ! Look at me, I'm totally amazed. There isn't a piece of my body who isn't amazed right now.

And that book ? That book of yours who's going to be published ? You know what I'm going to do to that book ?

I'm going to buy it.

With money.

I'm going to buy it SO HARD.

Who could hate this?

So enjoyable, all of this. The "numbers" pieces are a lot of fun, for sure. Thanks for taking the time to scan and share all of this.

holy fucking shit fuck this is incredible.
I need to have that comic yes.

also, if I may ask, how big is that first "numbers" piece originally? so impressive

on a sidenote, I have been thinking about that escalator joke by Mitch Hedberg for quite some time.
what if they are repairing the escalator? eh? EH?

Its on A3, which, if you're american and don't know what A3 is, its around... i don't know 12 x 10 inches

on the hedberg joke, you shouldn't think about any joke too hard. Here is another quote
"dissecting a joke is like dissecting a frog, nobody laughs and the frog dies" i'm not sure who said that

fair enough, but once you're standing in front of an escalator that's being repaired you get confronted with hard facts I suppose.

Your style is very aesthetically pleasing to me! Which might sound weird. What I mean is, it's really cool.

I just had this crazy idea of you drawing a whole B.P.R.D series. But in the meantime, you kick some serious ass.
